Investigating Music Preference in the Brain: A Network Science Approach

Robin Wilkins, Paul Laurienti, Matt Steen, Donald Hodges, Jonathan Burdette

Music preference is a complex phenomenon. However, most people choose to listen to music primarily for how it makes them feel. This study examines multiple metrics of brain network connectivity based on individual music preference.

This project is funded by the Music Research Institute of the University of North Carolina Greensboro, The Center for Biomolecular Imaging at WFSM, and Wake Forest School of Medicine.
